Over this three day training with Kate Stroud you will have the opportunity to learn about supporting mothers, babies and their families in the childbearing year. With Kate’s 13+ years of experience as a birth doula, a postpartum doula, childbirth educator, home birth midwife assistant and massage therapist who specialized in women in the childbearing year you will get an in-depth look into the work of supporting families and learn the skills to guide you on your path. With her charismatic teaching style you are guaranteed to have an enjoyable and very informational learning experience. We are here to help build strong compassionate doula, empowered birthing mothers and well supported families to build healthy communities.
The three day training includes the prerequisite Introduction to Childbirth for Doulas which will help you fulfill the required steps towards professional doula certification through DONA International.
You need not have any background in birth or medical experience to take this training, just a desire to learn and support birthing families.
