Meet the new Volunteer Coordinator Interns!
Sally and Sylvie are the Southeast Michigan Doula Project's new Volunteer Coordinator Interns! We are super excited to have them aboard. Look out for phone calls or emails from them in the near future. :)
Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and raised in the city of Brockton, Massachusetts, Sally is now attending her dream school in Ann, Arbor MI. She is a Junior majoring in Nursing with a minor in Gender and Health. She loves watching movies, reading romance and science fiction novels, and binge watching Spanish novellas Netflix. Her aspirations include volunteering in the Peace Corps post undergrad and starting a non-profit organization for maternal and child care health with her best friend.
Sylvie is currently a Junior at the University of Michigan. Her major is Gender and Health and her minor is the History of Medicine and Health. After graduating from U of M, she plans to pursue Public Health, specifically, women's reproductive health.
